Second month in a row with decrease in net worth!
But expected. Here are the big expenses which depleted our bank accounts.
The last of our landscape/hardscape project of $2,879! We should be done in this bucket for a few years now. The total cost of this summer-long project came to be $5,079. When we had got quotes from contractors for this work last summer they ranged between $6k to $8k.
We paid a one-time payment of $1,305 in extra mortgage (on top of the extra monthly principal we make each month). Just because we thought we had that much extra to throw at our largest debt. Paying off the mortgage is a priority for us, which will enable our FIRE.
Amidst all of these our investments grew in value in a month where the markets were essentially flat.
